This is our good friends little boy. His Mom and Dad wanted some pictures for his first birthday and I had so much fun doing them. This kid is always on the go, full of energy and smiles.

The Boulders

Last weekend we went down to our mountains and had a blast. The weather was kind of a mixture between rain,hail and SUNSHINE! It was beautiful when the sun was shining, the sky was so clear and blue and there were white cotton candy clouds that were beautiful! I couldn't help but snap some shots. When we first got married we lived closer to these mountains and we went all the time...every weekend we could. Now that we live so far away it seems like we never have the time. After this we decided to make more time even if we just go for a couple days, it really is worth it!

This was so beautiful, it looked like you could just walk right into heaven.

My little sister and I had a little photo shoot the other day on the beach. She's the only one I know that will let me just keep snapping pictures until I get the perfect shot, and she is a natural at working the camera!!! Thanks sister.

I'm way excited, I just bought my Hawaii ticket!!!! Yea, I'm so excited!! I can't wait to see my sister and to soak in some rays! I am lookin forward to taking some photos of her!

To All Those Daydreamers Out There

This post goes out to all those daydreamers out there. You know who you are, you were those in elementary school that always got seated far away from the window. The ones whose report card always included the word" daydreamer. . . .” and the ones who at recess could often be seen picking flowers or skipping with your friends. I know this because I too am known as somewhat of a daydreamer. Occasionally I’ll find myself asking what is going on in a movie because I drifted off into dreamland and missed half the plot. Another famous move of mine is when I go to “organize” something and it ends up taking me twice as long because I stop reminisce about the memories held in the things I'm organizing. To all of you daydreamers I’m sure your family and friends are well aware of what is going on with you when suddenly you get that dazed look on your face and they have to snap their fingers in front of you to bring you back into the real world again. But I’m getting to my point I have found as a daydreamer that this daydreaming period is when my best ideas come to me. My most creative moments seem to come to mind then. So I feel blessed to be a “daydreamer” because from this flows ideas for creativity in my photos and in my life. Live on daydreamers, live on.
